Jam also took a small portion to distribute to Dragonia and the various other realms in the Armageddon Zone. Tralix did take a small portion himself, although this was distributed by him to his people living in colonies on other worlds (following the biological bombing and subsequent quarantine of his home-world, Tau Celestos).

Talking between them, the trio agreed that it would be best to split the Synk-X inside and distribute it to worlds that needed it the most - as the material would fetch an incredibly high price for both its extreme rarity and its many uses. While Jam managed to expel the Axzorikans inside the asteroid into space using his dragon fire, Tralix used his cosmic power to teleport the still moving asteroid to several locations before slowly bringing it to a halt in the Mermaid Nebula. This plan proved successful, as when the Gravity wave activated, it instead sent the asteroid sailing off in a completely different direction. However, calculating that the time wasn't available to do so, KNIGHT resorted to Plan B: changing the weapon's output direction. As one of the Axzorikans powered up the launch process for the Gravity Wave, KNIGHT managed to knock him out and attempted to disarm the weapon. The three stowaways soon confronted the Axzorikan warriors - before all hell broke loose as Jam, KNIGHT and Tralix showed them what they were truly capable of. Those stowaways were Jam (a powerful dragon warrior from the realm of Dragonia - who had left Earth to explore the universe), Tralix (a royal from the planet Tau Celestos - which had been attacked by the Axzorikans some time back) and KNIGHT (A cyborg mercenary and merchant - who had decided to join the duo on their adventures). However, the Axzorikans had a trio of stowaways aboard who were prepared to stop them. The purpose of the weapon was that it would harness the power of the Synk-X and unleash a gravity wave powerful enough to completely annihilate both warring factions as well as decimate the Quardarx System (destroying the planets or throwing them out of their normal orbit). After easily cutting through the Union's task-force on the asteroid's surface, the warrior race attached a powerful 'Gravity Wave' transmitter to the asteroid. Having learned of the purpose of the war and desiring the contents of the asteroid for their own growing empire, a stealth ship managed to slip into the system - avoiding all search techniques - and landed on the asteroid. However, another force would have its say in the role of events - that force been the Axzorikans. As such, war broke out for possession of the Synk-X contained within. Attempts to negotiate broke down as the Quardarx utterly refused to share the contents of the asteroid. The miners refused and called upon their planetary government and its allies for help in defending what they had found. However it wasn't long before the Quardarx Union nearby learned of the find and demanded the miners hand over both what they had extracted already and surrender the remainder of the material still within the asteroid (basing this on the fact that the asteroid was in their system and that the miner's work was illegal as they hadn't consulted with the union first). For the miners, they hit the jackpot as they found over a trillion tons of an extremely rare crystalline substance known as Synk-X (which had a multitude of uses).Įxtraction work soon began - with the miners harvesting the material for their planet and dreaming of living in luxury. However, a group of interstellar miners from outside the system began drilling into the asteroid to search for precious resources. The asteroid was ignored initially by the inhabitants of the occupied worlds nearby.

Originally, the asteroid was the largest rock in an asteroid belt located in an ancient solar system called the Quardarx System - the system of which contained seven occupied worlds with its dominant peoples (The Persh, The Gamoricans, The Yacknees, The Reckolocus, The Hismex, The Lufedoa and the Qwimtaz) all joined in a planetary union. The 'Cave-in' is an asteroid located within the Mermaid Nebula.
